Text and TrueType fontsText from the source document is included in the PDF as actual text, which is resolution independent and can therefore be scaled arbitrarily. Any TrueType font may be applied. The required subsets of these fonts are embedded to ensure consistent visual representation across systems. Hyperlinks, bookmarks and meta dataInternal and external links from the HTML source document are automatically adopted into the PDF. Headings or arbitrary elements defined via CSS can be reached via bookmarks. Meta data such as author, title, subject and keywords is automatically carried over from the input document or may be specified via the API. CMYK color spaceBesides RGB, PDFreactor is able to produce PDF content in the CYMK color space. All color keywords can be translated into both RGB and CYMK. Digital signaturePDFreactor allows you to digitally sign your PDFs with a X.509 certificate. The signature ensures that the document has been created by the author who is specified in the certificate. Moreover it ensures that the document has not been tampered with after its creation. Encryption and restrictionsPDF documents generated can optionally be encrypted and secured with owner and user passwords. This includes the possibility to enforce various restrictions. Viewer preferences and print dialogYou can easily specify viewer preferences to be stored in the PDF in order to customize the PDF viewer's appearance when opening the PDF, e.g. hiding certain parts of the user interface or adapting the page layout. Furthermore, it is possible to force the print dialog to open automatically and to preset its settings. |
