Infoland integrates RealObjects edit-on® NG in its document management system iDocument

Saarbrücken and Veldhoven Infoland - a Dutch independent software vendor - has developed a...

Saarbrücken and Veldhoven Infoland - a Dutch independent software vendor - has developed a document management solution called iDocument, which is highly successful in the Dutch and Belgium healthcare sector. iDocument offers WYSIWYG editing of HTML documents, powered by edit-on® NG. Infoland has realised seamless integration of RealObject’s editor into its own solution, using the available API’s and customization options of edit-on® NG. This has been the result of close cooperation between RealObjects and its OEM-partner Infoland.

The document management system iDocument is based on Microsoft® ASP.NET technology, with a Microsoft® SQL Server back-end. Although all kinds of documents can be stored in iDocument, most customers primarily use documents in HTML format. The document content is stored in the SQL Server database, which also contains version history, metadata, managed hyperlinks, permissions and audit trails.

Infoland integrated the edit-on® editing component in its ASP.NET web application. When an HTML document is edited, its content is retrieved from the database and loaded into the editor. When the document is saved, the modified content is retrieved back from the editor, parsed for newly added hyperlinks and then stored in the database again.

The user interface of the editor was customized; the standard icons were replaced by icons matching the look & feel of iDocument and toolbars and menus were modified to fit Infoland’s needs. In order to keep the layout of documents uniform, various layout features were made unavailable for end users; instead the usage of layout profiles (like "Heading 1", "standard text", "important text") was offered, including an administrative feature for editing and creating layout profiles.

Infoland successfully embedded edit-on® NG into its document management system iDocument, resulting in an powerful and very user friendly editing environment. Seamless integration of the editor in iDocument was made possible by the extensive customisation options of edit-on NG and outstanding support provided by RealObjects.

Please also read the related case study.

About Infoland

Infoland is an independent software vendor, focusing on developing software which helps organisations to improve the overall quality of their products and services and to make organisations more transparent and more profitable. Founded in 1998, Infoland now employs over 75 professionals, mainly active in software development, customer support, consultancy and training.

Covering the Dutch and Belgium market, Infoland’s headquarters are located in Veldhoven, The Netherlands. Additional sales offices are located in Geel, Belgium and Houten, The Netherlands.

About RealObjects

Headquartered in Saarbrücken, Germany, RealObjects is a manufacturer of standards-oriented, cross-platform software tools for content authoring and electronic publishing. The company ranks as a pioneering developer of easy-to-use, affordable and quick-to-deploy WYSIWYG HTML/XHTML/XML editor solutions, which enable content authoring in Web- and Java-based applications.

The privately-held software company has more than 2000 corporate customers in over 30 countries, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises, educational institutions as well as government and non-profit organizations.

Saarbrücken RealObjects today announced the official release and immediate availability of...

Saarbrücken RealObjects today announced the official release and immediate availability of PDFreactor 5.0, the newest iteration of its highly successful HTML to PDF conversion engine. PDFreactor 5.0 offers even more exciting and innovative features, paired with improved performance.

The new features include:

Sessions, request headers and cookies

It is possible to set arbitrary HTTP headers for all connections established by PDFreactor. A convenience method for setting cookies is also included. This enables you to, e.g. pass a session ID to PDFreactor.

Support for HTTP authentication

PDFreactor enables you to convert documents (incl. style sheets and images), which require a password for their HTTP connections. The supported authentication schemes are Basic and Digest.

Automatic font fall-back

If the specified or default font cannot display certain characters in the document, one or more fall-back fonts are automatically determined, i.e. PDFreactor will search the available fall-back fonts until one is found containing the glyph and will use that font for rendering the missing character. A list of preferred fall-back fonts can be specified via CSS or the API.

PDF overlay

PDFreactor can add content of an existing PDF file as the background or foreground for content being converted. This functionality also allows you to include watermark/confidential notes as a background or generate sophisticated form letters for mailings, publicity campaigns etc.

Enhanced PDF merging

PDFreactor is able to append any number of existing PDF documents in any order to your source document.

Multiple pages per sheet (n-up printing)

N-up printing enables you to place two or more pages on one sheet (physical page). So, you have the ability produce multi-page layouts or compact PDF documents, e.g. to implement a draft/economy print mode within your application.

Rearrange order of pages

Using this functionality you can modify the order in which the pages appear in the resulting PDF document. You can even repeat or remove pages.

Using the combination of the rearrange and multi-page features allows the implementation of complex business use cases, e.g. the creation of ready-to-print business card and booklet sheets.

Digital signature

PDFreactor allows you to digitally sign your PDFs with a X.509 certificate. The signature ensures that the document has been created by the author who is specified in the certificate. Moreover it ensures that the document has not been tampered with after its creation.

Improved shrink-to-fit

In order to avoid elements (e.g. text boxes or images) with fixed pixel widths (common on legacy web pages) exceeding the page size PDFreactor can automatically adjust the DPI value for pixels. Thus, everything will properly fit on the pages. It is also possible to manually specify the DPI value.

Improved layout and better performance

Due to partial reengineering we were able further increase PDFreactor’s layout capabilities and accuracy and at the same time also its performance, especially in terms of conversion speed.

Automatic detection of exceeding contents

In case an element (i.e. text or an image) exceeds a page or the border of a page content, an optional warning can be logged. Detailed information about those elements can also be retrieved programmatically. Thus, you will know whether the content fits without manually inspecting the entire resulting PDF. Retrieving the total number of pages is also possible.

For more information: http://www.realobjects.com/products/pdfreactor/overview/

About RealObjects

Headquartered in Saarbrücken, Germany, RealObjects is a manufacturer of standards-oriented, cross-platform software tools for content authoring and electronic publishing.

The company ranks as a pioneering developer of easy-to-use, affordable and quick-to-deploy online HTML editor solutions, which enable content authoring in Web- and Java-based applications.

Due to changes in the latest Java Update 1.6.0_24 exceptions occur in edit-on Pro 5 e.g. when loading content or images sources from external URL. Because of that, edit-on Pro 5.3.249 or earlier versions can't be used with Java 1.6.0_24. We recommend not to update to Java 1.6.0_24 at this time or to downgrade to Java 1.6.0_23. We are working on this issue with highest priority and plan to release a hotfix release which makes edit-on Pro 5 compatible with Java Update 1.6.0_24 as soon as possible, most probably already early next week. We will inform all customers as soon as a edit-on Pro 5 hotfix release is available.

Saarbrücken and Munich The European Patent Office has embedded a RealObjects' Martha-based XHTML editor into Trimaran, a major application deployed to 4000 patent examiners.

Though written communication between EPO patent examiners and their counterparts, patent attorneys or inventors, takes place within a clear procedural framework ruled by patent law, a large editorial freedom has to be given to the examiners. Each patent application may lead to the examiner having to write several pages of individually-tailored, case-specific technical and legal argumentation. This "free text" has to be combined with patent procedural data items and inserted into predefined forms. This writing task is supported by the new editor Martha.

Martha forms part of Trimaran, a major JAVA application for examiners which has been deployed over the period 2009-2010. This new editor had to provide EPO-specific functionality and yet still behave like the off-the-shelf editors that people are familiar with.

Please also read the related case study.

About the EPO

The EPO has been serving inventors and companies in Europe since 1977. Today, the EPO is the second largest European organisation with 6700 employees from some 30 nations at five sites in four countries. The EPO was established to improve co-operation on the protection of inventions within Europe. Under the European Patent Convention you can now obtain patent protection in up to 38 countries by filing a single application in any of the three official languages, English, French or German.

About RealObjects

Headquartered in Saarbrücken, Germany, RealObjects is a manufacturer of standards-oriented, cross-platform software tools for content authoring and electronic publishing.

Saarbrücken and Karlsruhe Besides detailed product information VBL offers its insured persons, employers and pensioners the possibility to calculate tariff premiums and payment plans for company pension plan products online via its website www.vbl.de. Firstly the data which are important for the calculation are requested using various HTML forms. A printable insurance offer (PDF) is then created from the collected data in real time on the part of the server by using the PDFreactor. This offer can then be downloaded directly by the customer or is sent by post via an automated process. The project was carried out by SITEFORUM GmbH by order of the VBL.

With RealObjects PDFreactor® VBL has supplemented the web-based offer process to an optimum extent. Compared with the Open Source Tool HTMLDOC, PDFreactor® offers a multitude of benefits. This relates above all to the possibility to be able to define page layout and styles using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). It was only through this that it was possible to exactly implement the offer templates requested by VBL. The tool on the part of the server enables a fast, realizable, cost-efficient and high-quality printing functionality within the VBL offer creation process.

Please also read the related case study.

About VBL

The Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL) has been providing public-sector occupational pensions for 80 years. It is the largest provider of supplementary pensions in Germany. Occupational pensions are based on the collective labor agreements negotiated between employers and the unions.

Currently some 5,450 participating employers and about 4.1 million insured employees use VBL’s services. VBL manages more than € 14 billion of employee and employer contributions. Therefore VBL is one of the biggest institutional capital investors in Germany.

More than 1.1 million pensioners receive a supplementary pension from VBL alongside their state pension. VBL pays out about € 360 million in supplementary pensions every month.

VBL is the first port of call for the public sector when it comes to occupational pensions. VBL advises and informs employees, pensioners and employers alike. As a public agency, it doesn’t charge broker commission or sales fees. The customers benefit from below-average administration costs.

About RealObjects

Headquartered in Saarbrücken, Germany, RealObjects is a manufacturer of standards-oriented, cross-platform software tools for content authoring and electronic publishing.
SoftGuide uses RealObjects PDFreactor® for the automated production of software exposés

Saarbrücken and Wolfsburg Every day SoftGuide provides suppliers with hundreds of qualified contacts, either directly or via the contact form. In 2006 more than 6.4 million visitors visited the SoftGuide portal to research commercial software solutions. More than 130,000 customer enquiries were submitted via the contact form alone.

Media partnerships with leading publishers such as the Konradin IT publishing group, IDG, CNET, Hoppenstedt and many others also mean that the coverage of the SoftGuide software guide is substantially higher than that of other comparable software catalogues in the German-speaking market.

Together with a great variety of information and opportunities to download demo versions, plus supplementary information material and user reports, the SoftGuide offers its visitors so-called software exposés for downloading. These are PDF files containing details of suppliers and program descriptions of the software product being investigated, in printable format.

The tool previously used to generate these documents only achieved an imperfect conversion of the existing HTML files into PDF format. Much of the source text data used for illustrations and diagrams in the HTML document was displayed in the wrong place or was incorrectly aligned after conversion. As a result, only around 50% of the potential documents were of sufficiently high quality to be made available for downloading. The remaining thousands of documents had to be checked and revised manually at great expense.

As the software exposés are very popular with users and generate a substantial proportion of all the enquiries for software products, the large number of program entries without an exposé was costing a great many leads - and therefore sales - every day.

After just a few weeks, the software exposés have already become an important element of SoftGuide's lead acquisition. With RealObjects PDFreactor® a high-performance application has been successfully integrated and a noticeable improvement in the quality of the exposés has been achieved compared to the previously used tool.

Please also read the related case study.

About SoftGuide

Since 1996 SoftGuide has been providing online information about software solutions in the area of industry solutions, business applications areas and standard software. The SoftGuide database currently contains more than 8,000 up to date program descriptions plus company profiles of more than 5,100 suppliers, producers and service providers.

The privately-held software company has more than 1700 corporate customers in over 30 countries, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises, educational institutions as well as government and non-profit organizations. RealObjects has a strong network of key business alliances, value added resellers and OEM partners.

New version of RealObjects edit-on Pro TYPO3 Editor Extension released

Saarbrücken RealObjects today announced the release of version 2.0.2 of their free edit-on Pro...

Saarbrücken RealObjects today announced the release of version 2.0.2 of their free edit-on Pro TYPO3 Editor Extension.

TYPO3 is a free Open Source Content Management System (CMS) for enterprise purposes on the web and in Intranets. It offers full flexibility and extendibility, while featuring an accomplished set of ready-made interfaces, functions and modules (= Extensions). Without having any programming knowledge, these extensions can be activated using TYPO3's extension manager. TYPO3 is a user friendly and intuitive tool, allowing content creators to produce and maintain web pages and sophisticated functions with just a few mouse clicks. Currently it is the most popular Open Source CMS in Germany and Europe.

The default RTE that comes with TYPO3 does not offer the extent of editing and formatting functionality as edit-on Pro. In terms of usability the RTE also leaves a lot to be desired. For example, table editing, selection and resizing is much more comfortable in edit-on Pro. Furthermore, edit-on Pro's UI response time is better.

Therefore, RealObjects developed the edit-on Pro TYPO3 Extension, which brings enhanced edit-on Pro WYSIWYG editing functionality to TYPO3. This combination makes one of the most powerful Enterprise-CMS on the market.

Through the extension edit-on Pro editing power can be integrated into TYPO3 within minutes while preserving the editor's configurability and adaptability. Furthermore, selected configuration options of the editor are available through TYPO3's own scripting language TYPO3Script. RealObjects edit-on Pro significantly simplifies and streamlines the process of content authoring within TYPO3. Let your users experience the difference!

The main benefits of using edit-on Pro within TYPO3 are:

Enhanced editing and formatting capabilities

Real-time spell checker

Fully controlled copy & paste and drag & drop from MS Word

Better UI response time

Support accessibility according to the W3C WAI and section 508 accessibility guidelines

About the edit-on Pro TYPO3 Extension

RealObjects edit-on Pro is a commercial cross-platform WYSIWYG XHTML/XML editor as a Java applet, allowing individuals and teams to update, create, and publish web content to any Internet or Intranet site. It empowers non-technical users to become content contributors without knowing HTML, XML or other cryptic markup languages.

IMPORTANT: The edit-on Pro TYPO3 extension is free-of-charge, while installing/using edit-on Pro is optional. If edit-on Pro is not installed, any other editor available in the TYPO3 backend will be used for editing, thus the edit-on Pro TYPO3 extension will function even if edit-on Pro is not installed.

In order to use edit-on Pro within the extension in a TYPO3 production environment, you have to purchase an appropriate edit-on Pro license. For more information please see the edit-on Pro Licensing Terms and Conditions.

Deutsche Post World Net integrates RealObjects PDFreactor® in Intranet application "PDF Basket"

Saarbrücken and Bonn Alongside its very extensive Internet presence, Deutsche Post World Net...

Saarbrücken and Bonn Alongside its very extensive Internet presence, Deutsche Post World Net operates a corporate Intranet of more than 70,000 XHTML pages. The uniform layout is defined by a single CSS style sheet. As well as being able to access Intranet content using their browser, above all field staff need to be able to compile the contents of selected pages in printed form.

Printing these out using a browser on the one hand took a great deal of time, and on the other hand the quality suffered in terms of a compact way of compiling the content to be printed. For this reason the function "PDF Basket" was developed especially for the Intranet. Similarly to a shopping basket, staff can now collect the content of any Intranet pages they want in the "PDF Basket" at a click of their mouse and then after a final check print them or send them as one continuous document. Pagination and printing are achieved using RealObjects PDFreactor.

The "PDF Basket" solution was implemented by the application maintenance provider GFT. The final decision for an implementation of functionality based on PDFreactor was made after a prototype implementation. The advantages of using the PDFreactor functionalities lay in particular in the speed at which this was feasible and the high capability of integration into the existing application, as well as being able to benefit from the continuous development of the PDFreactor solution.

Please also read the related case study.

About Deutsche Post World Net

Having bundled together the logistics strengths of its brands Deutsche Post, DHL and Postbank, the Group offers integrated services and customized solutions for the management and transportation of goods, information and payment streams via its multinational and multi-location expertise and network.

Deutsche Post World Net is a leading provider of both Dialog Marketing and efficient outsourcing and system solutions for the mail business. The HTML form layout and rendering capabilities of PDFreactor match or surpass common web browsers such as Firefox or IE. Both interactive and static PDF forms can be created from HTML or XML.

Please see the PDFreactor product pages for more information.

About RealObjects

Headquartered in Saarbrücken, Germany, RealObjects is a manufacturer of standards-oriented, cross-platform software tools for content authoring and electronic publishing.

Saarbrücken and Hamburg Enterprise applications, those that execute core business processes and span across multiple internal applications, must be more than just a bunch of code modules. They must be well-designed in a way that guarantees proper business functionality, reusable code, and reduced coding time.

Modeling, the designing of software applications prior to coding, is an essential part of large software projects. It helps software developers ensure that the functionality is complete and correct while end-user needs and requirements for scalability, robustness, and extendibility are met. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) helps to specify, visualize, and document models of software applications. By utilizing UML, you can reduce the complexity of software system design, increase productivity, decrease maintenance efforts, and reduce costs.

Documentation is a vital part of the UML modeling process. In order to allow software designers to easily create such documentation in a WYSIWYG view, Gentleware AG integrated the RealObjects edit-on® JavaBean Rich Text control into its market leading modeling tool Poseidon for UML. The user-friendly word processor-like control adds comprehensive WYSIWYG XHTML editing functionality to Gentleware's flagship product line.

RealObjects' edit-on® JavaBean Rich Text Client added comprehensive WYSIWYG editing functionality to Gentleware's Poseidon for UML product line. The user-friendliness has been increased and the overall creation of XHTML documentation within Poseidon has been streamlined. The editor's configurability and extensibility also offers the flexibility to include further editing features in the future.

"RealObjects edit-on JavaBean SDK has allowed us to integrate comprehensive WYSIWYG editing functionality into the Poseidon for UML product line. From a technical point of view, we chose the RealObjects editor because it is more robust than Sun's Swing JEditorPane text component or other editor solutions with this basis. The edito's configurability and extensibility guarantees quick and seamless integration into our software products." Says Matthias Köster, Chief Technology Officer, Gentleware AG, Hamburg.

Please also read the related case study.

About Gentleware AG
Headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, Gentleware AG develops and distributes UML modeling tools and related products.

Saarbrücken and Frankfurt In high-volume corporate credit loans or when the Bank wishes to the spread the risk, several credit institutions may share the financing. A syndicated loan agreement forms the basis of this type of financing and is usually issued in cooperation with the local cooperative banks. DZ BANK was quick to recognise the advantages of a web-based system for processing the relevant credit applications.

For this reason an appropriate Business Process Management (BPM) System was developed and successfully introduced at the end of 2003, in collaboration with entory AG (a former company of the Deutsche Börse Group) and TIBCO-Staffware. This web-based system represents a successful transition from a paper-oriented system to a system based on web technology, with many advantages, especially in the reduction of processing times.

Since the functionality for creating formatted text content and/or analyses was not foreseen at first, the administrators and analysts were limited to using attachments in proprietary text formats. This has now changed. The integration of RealObjects' editor edit-on® Pro has provided over 500 users across the country with a high-performance, user-friendly tool for the creation of analyses and other word processing tasks.

RealObjects edit-on® Pro has successfully removed a technical weak point in the system. The user-friendliness has been increased and the efficiency of the system has been improved. A decisive advantage for us is the user-friendliness, which provides ease of use and configurable editor settings.

"To format text to be acquired in the data entry process, edit-on® Pro offers users the look and feel of normal word processing. This satisfies the requirement of representing complex technical content in a structured way and also allows the data to be transferred in the same format to the forms created in the workflow system." Says Winfried von Coelln, Process Manager, DZ BANK AG, Frankfurt.

Please also read the related case study.

About DZ BANK AG
DZ BANK AG, Deutsche Zentral Genossenschaftsbank Aktiengesellschaft in Frankfurt am Main is positioned as a central institution and corporate bank as well as a holding of the DZ BANK group. As one of the central banks for the local cooperative banks, it aims to provide tailor-made products, exemplary services and efficient processes. DZ BANK AG will develop into a leading Allfinanz Group with a European orientation over the next few years. DZ BANK is already the fifth largest banking group in Germany and is the 34th largest bank in the world.

In partnership with over 1,100 local cooperative banks, DZ BANK AG provides products and services in all relevant customer segments, liquidity management and reliable refinancing management.

About RealObjects
Founded in May 2000, RealObjects is a pioneering developer of easy-to-use, affordable and quick-to-deploy cross-platform WYSIWYG HTML/XHTML/XML editor solutions, which enable content authoring in Web- and Java-based applications.

Saarbrücken and London RealObjects, international market leader in cross-platform web content...

Saarbrücken and London RealObjects, international market leader in cross-platform web content authoring solutions, and Limehouse Software, a market-leading software development agency for the public, education and not-for-profit sectors in the UK, have become OEM partners.

Using RealObjects' proven edit-on Pro technology, Limehouse will now deliver advanced in-browser word processing capabilities as a key new component of the Limehouse Publisher project management and publishing system, which specialises in the production of long and complex strategic documents.

The integration of RealObjects' WYSIWYG XHTML/XML editor edit-on Pro into Limehouse Publisher enables contributors and approvers to quickly and easily create and modify document fragment in a WYSIWYG mode by using common web browsers. The fragments created using the RealObjects editor are then assembled into the final document by Limehouse Publisher. This simplifies the overall publishing process, reduces costs and increases the productivity of authors.

"After thoroughly looking at other vendors providing similar technology, we found RealObjects' solution provided the level of features our clients need to author their content (including table support, spell checker and full-screen editing) in a familiar user interface. As we supply local government (where standards support is key), the ability to verify the content against the XHTML DTD was vital." Said Colin Mackenzie, Managing Director, Limehouse Software.

"The adherence to standards in the XML created by the editor ensures that the powerful XSLT and XSL-FO publishing features of Limehouse Publisher work every time, allowing our customers to produce complex plans to a high level of design and consistency. We chose to work with edit-on Pro because we could easily integrate the editor into our own solution and customise it to add specific features and XML elements required by our customers. Our developers managed to integrate the editor to our solution remarkably quickly and, with a little help from RealObjects' support, we managed to create advanced customisations including a cross-fragment link manager ... " Colin added.

"With Limehouse Software as an OEM Partner, RealObjects continues to strengthen its position in the UK market. This partnership further demonstrates the superior range of functions, features, reliability and quality of edit-on Pro, reflecting our desire to establish it as the standard content authoring solution within a wide range of sectors and industries." Said RealObjects Co-Founder and Managing Director Michael Jung.

About Limehouse
Since its formation in 1998, Limehouse has been one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK. We are now a market-leading communications agency for the public, education and not-for-profit sectors.

Among our clients are over 100 local and central government organisations, more than 40 educational institutions, 40 NHS and other health bodies and a number of associations and charities.
Limehouse Software supplies publishing and image rights management products to the public and other sectors.

About RealObjects
Founded in May 2000, RealObjects is a pioneering developer of easy-to-use, affordable and quick-to-deploy cross-platform WYSIWYG HTML/XHTML/XML editor solutions, which enable content authoring in web- and Java-based applications.

Its market leading editor applet edit-on-Pro perfectly complements web-based Content Management, Knowledge Management or e-Learning systems, and streamlines the process of in-browser web authoring - across platforms, without installation of client-side software.

Headquartered in Saarbrücken, Germany, RealObjects is a privately-held software manufacturer with several hundred corporate customers in over 30 countries, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises, educational institutions as well as government and not-for-profit organisations.

Saarbrücken and Paderborn Members of Padeborn University were quick to recognize the potential of the TYPO3 Open Source Content Management System.
Saarbrücken Today RealObjects announced the release of the free edit-on Pro 4 TYPO3 Extension.TYPO3...

Saarbrücken Today RealObjects announced the release of the free edit-on Pro 4 TYPO3 Extension.

TYPO3 is a free Open Source Content Management System (CMS) for enterprise purposes on the web and in Intranets. It offers full flexibility and extendibility while featuring an accomplished set of ready-made interfaces, functions and modules (= extensions).

TYPO3 comes with a default Rich Text Editor (RTE), which however offers very limited editing features and is not working cross-platform. As our website is completely based on TYPO3, we are aware of the RTE's limitations an shortcomings. Therefore, we developed the free edit-on Pro 4 TYPO3 Extension, which brings enhanced edit-on Pro functionality to TYPO3. This combination makes one of the most powerful enterprise-level CMS on the market.

By using the extension, edit-on Pro 4 editing power can be integrated into TYPO3 within minutes while preserving the editor's configurability and adaptability. Furthermore, selected configuration options of the editor are available through TYPO3's own scripting language TYPO3Script. Keep also in mind, RealObjects has years of TYPO3 know-how, thus allowing us to efficiently support customers that purchase an edit-on Pro 4 license for using with the extension.

RealObjects edit-on Pro 4 significantly simplifies and streamlines the process of content authoring within TYPO3. Let your users experience the difference!

The main benefits of using edit-on Pro 4 within TYPO3 are:

Reduce web content creation and maintenance costs

Increase the productivity of your authors and consequently of your company

Offer enhanced editing features to your authors, e.g. table editing, spell checker, search and replace, redo and undo, etc.

Support accessibility according to the W3C WAI and section 508 accessibility guidelines

Guaranteed XHTML compliance of content and DTD support

Cross-platform capabilities

About RealObjects
Founded in May 2000, RealObjects is a pioneering developer of easy-to-use, affordable and quick-to-deploy cross-platform WYSIWYG HTML/XHTML/XML editor solutions, which enable content authoring in Web- and Java-based applications.
