When fonts are installed after the font cache was generated by PDFreactor, please delete the fontcache file before running PDFreactor again to ensure they are included in the cache. See below for more information about the font cache mechanism.
Under Windows the required fonts should usually be installed by default.
In order to use your own additional fonts, just copy the TTF files into the windows\fonts directory. Before running PDFreactor, please delete the font cache file.
Under Linux, you have to download the msttfcorefonts package (or the single fonts) from http://corefonts.sourceforge.net/. Then unpack the fonts and move them into the directory "$JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/fonts". The file permissions must allow the user running PDFreactor access to the *.ttf files in this directory. Before running PDFreactor, please delete the font cache file.
On Mac OS X, the required fonts should usually be installed in Mac OS X format. On newer versions of Mac OS X PDFreator is no longer able to extract the TrueType font data from those, due to a change in the font format. In this case, please download the msttfcorefonts package (or the single fonts) from http://corefonts.sourceforge.net/. Then unpack the fonts and move them into the directory "/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Version/1.6.0/Home/lib/fonts/". The file permissions must allow the user running PDFreactor access to the *.ttf files in this directory. Before running PDFreactor, please delete the font cache file.
