edit-on Pro uses W3C's TIDY to perform an XHTML clean-up when loading content into the editor. Formatted text can be copied/cut/pasted from/to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel only if the Sun JRE 1.4.2 or better is used and the clean-up process is enabled. Additionally, to allow the user to Copy/Cut/Paste formatted text, the "htmlformatclipboard" parameter must be enabled in the "config.xml" configuration file.
