Unfortunately, edit-on Pro is not able to render nested tables yet. edit-on Pro was designed to provide basic functions for the editing and formatting of tables. The user can not only insert tables on the fly, but also dynamically modify existing table structures by adding, deleting or formatting table cells, rows or columns; including ROWSPAN/COLSPAN and VALIGN.

As the rendering of complex tables is very elaborate, and as we are always working towards a trade-off between the size of our applet, and the number of features, respectively the quality of the rendering in WYSIWYG mode, there are some discrepancies in the way the editor displays complex tables.

The idea of the table feature is to provide simple table editing capabilities with WYSIWYG comfort – in websites and web applications, across platforms, without installation of client-side software.
