If you have a valid edit-on Pro 2.x/3.x/4.x 1-Year Support & Maintenance subscription, you may upgrade to edit-on Pro 5 free of charge. Upgrading to edit-on Pro 5 has certain licensing implications which you should carefully consider before upgrading.

We highly recommend to do the upgrade in two steps. In the 1st step please request a free edit-on Pro 5 trial package in order to integrate and test it within your web environment. By using the trial license key please make sure to successfully integrate edit-on Pro 5 into your application and make sure you and your end-users feel comfortable with the new version of the editor. A: No, by requesting the upgrade of your license to edit-on Pro 5, your edit-on Pro 2.x/3.x/4.x license has terminated completely, and it is not possible to sell or transfer it.
