Also, we have added a customized icon to the toolbar (a little Adobe PDF logo), which uses GETHTMLDATAURL to send the content of the editor to our server, where a CGI script runs to generate and return a PDF document on-the-fly, which is delivered into a new browser window using the GET_OK_TARGET. I was able to implement this functionality into the editor in about 1 hour, thanks to the excellent documentation. (When I say 1 hour, this of course does not include the development time for the PDF generator itself!). I was pleased to discover that the GETHTMLDATAURL and GET_OK_URL are both able to accept multiple CGI parameters, so this enabled me to embed all of our primary key, security, session and other information into the application. For me, it was like a dream coming true as I worked through the manual and discovered that everything I needed, for once, was all there for me!!! We are very impressed with the results and have not discovered any bugs in edit-on Pro Ver. 2.1.119.FIX.2, so we are going to stick with that version for the time being.
