TYPO3 Extension Installation and Sample Package (2008-02-28)

The RealObjects edit-on Pro 5 Typo3 Extension allows you to optionally use RealObjects' WYSIWYG XHTML/XML editor edit-on Pro 5 as a replacement for the TYPO3 default Rich Text Editor (RTE). As a Java Applet, edit-on Pro 5 runs cross-platform and provides functions such as spell checker, search and replace, redo and undo, insert symbols, select colors etc. In contrast to the default TYPO3 RTE, it offers a greater feature set and more convenient user interface, which is fully customizable in terms of toolbar, pull down menu, shortcuts, look and feel etc.

The edit-on Pro 5 TYPO3 Extension is free while installing/using edit-on Pro 5 is optional. If edit-on Pro is not installed, any other editor available in the TYPO3 backend will be used for editing, thus the edit-on Pro 5 TYPO3 extension will function even if edit-on Pro 5 is not installed.
