Officially Recommended and Supported Java VM

	Sun JRE 1.4.2
	Sun JRE 1.5.0

The latest updates and service packs should be installed.

Note: Sun JRE 1.6.0 seems to work fine as well (with a nice speed boost), but because it is very early in its life cycle, we recommend to stay with JRE 1.5.0 until the first service releases for 1.6.0 are available.

General Requirements & Notes

Java VM with Java SDK 1.4.2 support or better

Minimum Hardware Requirements

	1 GHz Pentium CPU or equivalent
	512 MB RAM

Application Servers Supported

	All common J2EE application servers
	All server-side scripting languages like PHP, JSP, ASP, ASP.NET, Perl, Python etc.

Client Requirements

Since PDFreactor runs on a server, the end-user in general does not need any software other than a free PDF viewer.
