Starting from just 249.00 EUR RealObjects offers you the most advanced multi-platform on-line editing technology. Choose from three license models (Seat License, CPU License, Enterprise Site License) in order to find the license which best suits your needs. Named User means "Non-Concurrent User" or "User Seat" within one organization/company/firm. A Named User is one person/user/author with access rights to edit-on Pro in any form. All Named User may use edit-on Pro concurrently (= simultaneously) or non-concurrently (= non-simultaneously). The Seat License is NOT a 'floating' license, that is, you cannot temporarily transfer access rights to another user. When your user base grows to the point that you have the 11th, 21st etc. unique Named User, you need to purchase additional Seat License Packs (10 Named User) to cover the new user seats.

The 1-Year Support & Maintenance Pack entitles you to receive priority technical support and all maintenance releases or updates or upgrades for the duration of the support period. It is available at the time of purchase of a license or upgrade at the cost of 20% of the software license fee. You can renew the 1-Year Support & Maintenance Pack until the end of the subscription period. The cost of renewing is 20% of the software license fee on the renewal date.

With the upgrade to edit-on Pro 5, the customer may no longer use edit-on Pro 2.x/3.x/4.x. The edit-on Pro 2.x/3.x/4.x license and the right to use it terminates by upgrading to edit-on Pro 5. The customer declares and warrants that he/she has entirely removed the edit-on Pro 2.x/3.x/4.x software previously licensed to them for use under the terms of the Software License Agreement. RealObjects will not provide further support, or process changes of license keys (e.g. add/remove server names and IPs) for an edit-on Pro 2.x/3.x/4.x license already upgraded to edit-on Pro 5. It is not possible to downgrade again to edit-on Pro 2.x/3.x/4.x.

RealObjects reserves all rights to change the pricing and licensing terms for its products and services at any time. This pricelist is valid as of 1 January 2007 and supersedes all other pricelists issued/published prior to this date. All prices are in EUR (€) and are excluded VAT. European Union (EU) residents pay an additional 19% VAT, if a valid European VAT ID number is not provided.


Educational Institutions, such as schools, colleges, universities etc., will receive a thirty percent (30%) discount, when purchasing an Enterprise Site License or CPU License.


Additional license packs for the CPU License (1 CPU each) and Seat License (10 Named User each) can be bought at the same price as shown above.


When purchasing Enterprise Site Licenses, payments for previously purchased Seat Licenses can be deducted from the then-valid Enterprise Site License price. Please note: with the 200-User Seat License, there is a breakeven with the Enterprise Site License at 4.980,00 € .
