Saarbrücken RealObjects today announced the official release of edit-on Pro Version 5.1. The main highlight of the new version is the editor's improved loading time across all Java versions, especially noticeable when using Java 1.6. It is now also possible to preload the entire applet into the Java cache. The significant increase in speed together with a new way of integration demonstrated in the latest Dynamic DOM Modification Sample will offer outstanding editing performance and usability to the end-users of your CMS or web-based application

Version 5.1 is a minor version update. As it includes important improvements and corrections, RealObjects highly recommends to update as soon as possible. A list of all changes as well as important release notes can be found within the readme.txt.

The Version 5.1 installation package is available for immediate download.

Customers with a valid 1-Year Support & Maintenance subscription for a previous major version (2.x/3.x/4.x) of edit-on Pro are entitled to upgrade to the new version free-of-charge using our online form. Customers without a valid subscription may upgrade to edit-on Pro Version 5.1 by purchasing an upgrade license.
