The "activation" of the 1-Year Support & Maintenance subscription can not be done at the regular subscription price. It requires the purchase of the upgrade package as well - even if you are already using the latest major version because a valid subscription also includes the option to receive any available future major version during the subscription period free of charge.

For example: If you purchased a CPU license without the 1-Year Support & Maintenance subscription and besides that you forgot to purchase the subscription within the permitted time, the "activation" of the subscription would cost 2.310,00 EUR/2.772,80 USD (= 1.777,00 EUR/2.133.00 USD for the Upgrade + 533,00 EUR/639,80 USD for the 1-Year Support & Maintenance Pack). After the "activation" of the subscription, the upgrade to the current or future major version (if available) could be done immediately or within the subscription period, which will last for one full year from the date of purchase.

After you have purchased the "activation" (= 1-Year Support & Maintenance subscription + the option to upgrade any time during the subscription period) you will receive an updated license key with the new subscription expiration date. Using our Request Upgrade form, you can then request the upgrade immediately or later on.
