The following please find a selection of animations and screenshots, which demonstrate VersioTrack's powerful functionality and great visualization, similar to common word processors.
Screenshots
(1) We start by choosing two versions of a document from a content repository. The different versions of the document were compared. RealObjects edit-on Pro with VersioTrack is now in its "Comparison Mode" which visualizes changes and allows fine-grained merging of those changes in the final document.
(2) In the "Comparison Mode" differences are visualized in a user-friendly way.
(3) To give the reviewer a better overview of all the changes contained in the new document, VersioTrack offer the "Reviewing Pane". When you enable the "Reviewing Pane" the type and content of changes are listed in the lower part of the edit-on Pro window. You can select each change and the WYSIWYG view will automatically jump to the location of the change.
(4) VersioTrack offers various modes to visualize changes in a user-friendly way. The first mode shows both inserted and deleted text.
(5) But it is also possible to see the original document with insertions shown in "bubbles" on the right side. The bubbles show the location and content of the inserted text.
(6) Clicking on the bubble will highlight the line pointing to the location of the change.
(7) The next view mode shows the final document, with deleted parts shown in bubbles. Right-clicking on the bubbles allows you to accept or reject each change.
(8) In "Comparison Mode" it is still possible to edit the document, e.g. to correct a typo. VersioTrack will track your changes in real-time and visualize the change.
(9) Having reviewed the important changes in the document, we can now accept the remaining changes all at once. By doing that, we will leave the "Comparison Mode" and have the final merged document in edit-on Pro, ready to save it back to the CMS repository.
(10) Final merged document.
